Welcome to our Computer Lab. Our Computer Lab is made up of 30 laptops and 1 desktop computer, educational software, and a smartboard. In the Computer Lab we see all Springwoods Patriots in a 2 week cycle. In our lab, Ms. Hansen teaches lessons that meet the Virginia and Prince William Technology standards. Our computer software includes Pixie3, Web and Image Blender, Kidspirations 3, Inspirations, Kindergarten Jumpstart Advanced, Math Essentials, and SOL to Go!
Announcements October HappeningsWeek of Oct. 3rd.
2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders are working in Pixie 3. We are learning the new program features and re-learning about the program. 1st grade is working in Shapes Investigations. We are reviewing the Shapes program and learning how to use a laptop. What's happening in SeptemberAll Springwoods Patriots reviewed the rules and lab procedures.
5th graders are working on Baldrige. They are helping define our Mission and Vision, quality computer lab students and teachers, and responsible and response-able computer lab behaviors. 3rd grade is learning how to use www.kidbiz3000.com. This is a website where they will read current news and practice their nonfiction reading skills.
